Moving Space - Intro
The action of moving around space for me is how some people might relate to moving their bodies. A necessary

function for a healthy life. Yes, moving space in itself is a physical activity. But I connect the energy of spaces as a dancer would connect the rhythm to their movements: an outside force dictating what feels instinctual in the moment.
Sometimes my virgo rising loves to make a plan for a space. Like loves it, spreadsheets and lists galore. That, too, can be instinctual but there is nothing like shifting and moving things physically for me.
Growing up I fully redesigned my room 3 or 4 times in a 9-year span. I always have wanted to express myself through space. I wanted to show all of me through design.
I’ve lived in my home in Des Moines for about 7 months now. I’ve talked about how I don’t have 85% of my things here in past newsletters. Most of ‘my stuff’ is in storage in LA, and that still holds true. In those 7 months, I’ve moved furniture around countless times. Constantly refining with what I have. This to me is the learning process of how to make the space resonate with who I am and connect with what is before me so that they live in harmony.
Times that call for rearranging space :
After a depressive state
Before welcoming something new
To manifest a new living space in your life
When your parents are coming to visit (could potentially verge on the anxious, watch out for that)
After a breakup
Within a depressive state, to either:
make it cozier, more comfortable, and support your needs at the moment
feel fresh to aid in pulling yourself out
The beginning of Spring
The beginning of Fall
